			<description><![CDATA[ This morning I had another meeting with Steve Keil.  It was a follow up meeting to the meeting we had on April 28th, 2009.  In this meeting Steve said that he would go out to the departments that representative unit 028 employees work in and find out if the furloughs would give them enough money to stop layoffs of those employees. ]]></description>

			<title>Meeting With The CIO (March 23, 2009)</title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Today John Culbert, the vice President of DPPA, and I met with the CIO, David Villanueva, to discuss the IT Consolidation and the Budget for next fiscal year.  The Consolidation RFD is due today, March 23rd, 2009, at 3 pm.  David says that his team will decide who gets the award within 3 weeks and then whoever is accepted will have 120 days to complete the recommendations for Consolidation of IT. ]]></description>

			<title>Meeting of the Consolidation of Information Technology Team (March 9, 2009)</title>

In this meeting David Villanueva, the Chief Information Officer, introduced all the team members; Rob Schultz from DHA, Ray Reis from DHHS, Jeff Leveroni from MSA; Rami Zakaria, Debra Nadolna, Chuck Parker, Jim Reiner and Alan Douma from OCIT, Cynthia Silver from ISA  and Craig Rader from Purchasing.  Each member got up and gave what their tasks were. ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ David Villanueva, the County Chief Information Officer, just met with me to share information about the state the County is in financially.  He told me that the County Chief Executive Officer, Terry Schutten, told him to undertake development of a plan for the consolidation of Information Technology Services.  David said he strongly supports the people who work in the IT field and wants to insure that they all stay employed with as little disturbance as possible. ]]></description>
