Our Mission
DPPA is a non-profit employee organization formed to lobby on behalf of its members on issues pertaining to employment with the County of Sacramento. We are governed by our By-Laws, which among other things, "provide for financial assistance to members for matters pertaining to their employment, including but not limited to, the cost of legal assistance that a member may incur in a grievance proceeding. Our By-Laws also describe the duties of our eight elected Board members, how our elections are held, dues, etc. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month.
In addition to our official business, the DPPA board believes it is important to have occasional social gatherings to help foster a good working relationship among all IT/Data Processing employees within the County, including Management.
